Privacy Policy
The German version of this privacy policy is authoritative.
This website is built to be radically data-minimal: it embeds no third-party services, uses no tracking or analytics, sets no cookies when you visit, and never stores personal data in its database. No consent-based processing takes place — which is why there is no cookie banner.

No data protection officer has been appointed; there is no legal obligation to do so for our practice.
2. General principles
All connections are TLS-encrypted; the site runs exclusively on servers in Germany; no personal data is transferred to third countries; nothing is loaded from third-party servers.
3. Hosting & server logs
Hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The web server technically processes connection data (IP address, time, requested page, browser identifier) in log files for secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); IP addresses are anonymised automatically as they are logged, and log files are deleted after 8 weeks at the latest.
4. Cookies
Browsing this website sets no cookies. Only if you actively reserve an hour, one strictly necessary cookie ("wv", 7 days) with a random, non-personal identifier is set — it re-displays your own reservation, enables cancellation and limits duplicates. No consent banner is required for strictly necessary cookies.
5. First-party script (no tracking)
The site uses a single self-hosted script for convenience features. It processes no personal data, sets no cookies, sends nothing to third parties and loads no external content. The website remains fully functional with JavaScript disabled.
6. Anonymous visit planning
Reservations are anonymous: no names or contact details are collected — only a counter per hour and random identifiers stored as cryptographic hashes. For abuse prevention, your IP address is processed solely as a daily-salted hash (not linkable across days, deleted within 48 hours). All reservations are deleted automatically at the end of each day.
7. Video consultation
Booking and conducting video consultations happens entirely with the certified provider arztkonsultation ak GmbH, Schusterstraße 3, 19055 Schwerin, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). The button on our site is a plain link — you only leave our website when you click it; our website itself processes none of your data. The provider's privacy policy: arztkonsultation.de/datenschutz.
8. Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us, we process the data you provide to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR; Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR where health data is concerned). Our mailbox is operated by Tutao GmbH (Tuta), Deisterstr. 17a, 30449 Hannover, Germany — mailboxes are stored encrypted on servers in Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). E-mail correspondence is deleted once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention duties apply. Please note that unencrypted e-mail is not a secure channel — for sensitive medical matters we recommend calling us.
9. External map links
The directions page links to OpenStreetMap and Google Maps. Nothing is embedded — those services load only after you actively follow a link.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77): Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, datenschutz-berlin.de.
